Our curriculum is structured
to provide you with a well rounded martial arts training program.
This consists of stretching and conditioning exercises, kicking
techniques, fighting forms,
Chinese weaponry, self defense, bag drills, and sparring. You'll
develop a broader understanding of Chinese philosophy, fighting theory and
application, and self discipline. Each class emphasizes different aspects of our training program to ensure
you get the most out of your martial arts education.
Full-contact
training (Sanshou), grappling, Lion dance, demonstration team and competition
training are also available.

SELF DEFENSE |
|
Self defense is an integral part of our
curriculum. You will learn practical and effective self
defense techniques that include kicks, punches, blocks, joint locks,
take downs and grappling. Theory and fighting applications are
explained in detail. The style of
Choy Lay Fut
is known as one of the most effective fighting systems in China.

FIGHTING FORMS |
|
Forms
are sequences of movements that have been passed down through generations.
All the self defense techniques are derived from the fighting forms. Our forms are fast moving, fluid and very powerful. The
fighting forms and weapons training will increase your coordination,
stamina, and body strength. It is a full cardiovascular workout that
will use every major muscle group in your body!

WEAPONRY |
|
Traditional Chinese weaponry
is used by many Kung Fu systems. Choy Lay Fut's curriculum includes
an array of Chinese weaponry that includes Staff, Spear, Broadsword,
Butterfly Knife, Straight Sword, Three sectional staff, whip chain and
many more. As a member, you will learn a new weapon in each level.

SANSHOU |
|
Learn the different methods of
Chinese Kung Fu fighting; from free sparring to Sanshou that incorporates throws and takedowns. Your
training will consist of conditioning, shooting skills, take downs,
advanced kicking, and effective hand strikes. These drills are designed to improve your speed,
power, timing, and focus.

KICKBOXING |
|
Kung Fu
KICKBOXING combines Kung Fu and Chinese Kickboxing skills with cardio
vascular exercises that will build strength, endurance, and reduce body
fat. We pack real self-defense skills into the most exciting, rewarding,
and beneficial workout of your life, taught by real Kung Fu experts. Our
Kung Fu Kickboxing program is suitable for everyone, and the class is
taught in a fun and safe atmosphere.
